Recently with performance increases my FPS floats around 25-30 with much better graphics settings, turning down the settings actually doesn't give me much of a boost unless I go WAY down.
For me, I dropped everything to bare minimum, and my FPS's never increased from 15 fps.... so I bumped up my graphics & resolution just below the point where it drops lower than 15.... if there's no difference, then I might as well make it look as decent as my system can handle.
I've tried playing at higher graphics at a lower FPS, but once I hit 12 fps or lower, I certainly notice the difference and is unplayable.
I haven't checked what improvements happen in the Beta cuz I don't like Countdown (which is on often) and I don't care for RO Classic, so I only know what I get in the official game at present.... when the improvements hit the official game, I'll let yas know what happens.
Maybe with some luck, I too can get up to the 20-30 fps.
