That' isn't a German. That right there is Bolshevist propaganda to make the Wehrmacht look pathetic and disorganized.

It isn't the mask itself, it's how he wears it. Wearing it like that will only make it wet from his breath. Might feel nice the first half hour or so but soon it wont be so comfortable and you increase the risk of getting frost bitten in your face by a lot. Notice how not one in the pictures is wearing it over their mouth and nose.

Depends on the wind conditions, cause if it's very windy then covering your mouth & nose will be to your own advantage vs not doing it. If the there is little or no wind, and it's very cold, then it's usually best not to cover the nose & mouth. Balaclavas are used in exactly the same way today, where you mostly have it pulled down during calm weather, and then pull it up when it gets really rough & windy.

Amazingly fun how people still complain after being told so many times that they have the option to disable pretty much everything.

What is the problem now? I don't get it. It can only be that you don't want it to be optional and force everyone to play it your way. But if thats so, you are not helping your case about not being a nazi.

I noticed a glitch.

Light bleeds inside the helmets and illuminates the foreheads.

Spoiler!

It seems to be a problem with shadow bias, cause as it gets closer to head, the distance between the helmet and head is lower than shadow bias and shadow is not cast.

Is there any official response on if this will be fixed? Kind of nit pickey but it's been bugging me since the first ever screenshots were released.

Kind of, but if it gets wet/moist when it's windy it's even worse.

This is what the guy is wearing:

802212.jpg

And it is an actual item German soldiers were issued. We're not making this stuff up :) As a matter of fact NOT having stuff like this in the game is less realistic.

These guys are wearing it:

And can someone please go back in time and tell this guy he is out of uniform and making the war less realistic!

Good work!

Now, find me a picture of a German or a Soviet soldier with their ID tag hanging out, like a piece of bling.

As an aside, will we see the AVT-40, or some prototype Soviet weapons?

While we're talking about this particular issue I actually remember seeing pictures of German troops wearing balaclavas with a small slit cut near the mouth. I had a picture of it on my old portable, I'll try to find it again.

i think realism fanboys might be more appropriate ramm-jaeger. We would much prefer to use what they actually had rather then what they wouldn't of had or could of had. You say you are making a realism game when you pump out this crap and say it's realistic? Anyone with two braincells knows that the mkb42 was not in stalingrad. If you want to make a game like call of duty then by all means do so, but don't slap realism on there if your not actually going to do it.

wow.

Now all we need is a picture of an MG42 and I will die of joy before I even get to play the game.

We are criticizing the MkB with the scope, and the MP40-II because even though they existed, they were rare and might of never seen actual combat. /QUOTE]

Keyword there is "MIGHT". How the hell would any of you even know for sure. If it EXISTED (which you admit it did) and it was at all possible for it to be there...then what is your problem? Stop being jackasses.
