Alt fire help

my alt fire mouse 3 don't work i don't no why but it works fine in other games and normaly but when i use it in KF nothing happends i can change it but i wana keep it as mouse 3 but it doesn't work any ideas??? well i tought it was broken when i was in game but i tryed it when i wasn't in game and it was working fine
