lool I can imagen this. I have done a similar way but I said to my team that I was taking the fp 1v1 so don't touch it. I wanted to prove how the M14 sharp can take the FP before it touches anyone...I did it after the second time or so. There is always one time when you miss the head and know that if you hit that one shot, you would of survived and laughing as you leak from your backside due to how close it was. Some of my best DAMN moments is them :p

My favourite is still the random fp raging around the corner and trying to target me and I accidently single 9mm shot it and it dies as I run with a knife. Priceless moment :D

Yeah, some of the most fun moments are when you're at 6 health and there's a flock of steves or gorefasts or what ever and you barely make it out.

almost our entire team had been wiped out. except me and a lv 0 commando he and i were being surrounded by clots and gorefasts when suddenly a wild scrake appears. my
teammate (don't ask how he lasted this long) had the bright idea to start randomly firing at this scrake. we were surrounded by zeds mind you. long story short we were wiped out within a matter of seconds

I was playing Offices (5 man HoE) as a m14/LAR sharp. The team was holding down stairs and I had the back, stairs + sharp = some pain. This new guys joins as a supp. He stands and runs around RIGHT in front of me where I can't get any headshots. Making the most of the situation, I practice my shooting when in mid air. After a wave of two, he gets kicked, thank god. Next game, another pub joins at wave 6 or 7. He joins as a firebug. Good for armor and all, so ok. He spams the flame thrower.... I tell him not to set the SC and FPs on fire but he ignores me. He runs out of ammo with the flame thrower most of the waves and then get out a mac10, and STILL sets SCs and FPs on fire... GG firebad. Then next game (Biohazard), the firebad goes bow sharp. He was missing just about every headshot and raged SCs on people by missing the follow up shot. Naturally he ran out of bolts at the end of every round, then he started spamming the 44 mag. I missed a couple(I think 2) of follow up shots with the xbow as well, although that was due to not being able to see because of smoke and/or demo spamming near the scrake and moving it, so I can't really say much. Of course, that same game, the demo went AFK on round 8 or was it 9... and before wave 10, was kicked. Amazing, the first two games were won, and the third we wiped on pat.

While I enjoy playing with really good people, sometimes playing with some bad pubs is fun too. You get better at hip firing the xbow and killing raged scrakes for one. `~`

Man, husks are jackholes. So, the team was holding spawn at evilsantaslair, horrible idea btw, and we almost wipe on wave 9. So we decide to kite wave 10. Kite starts etc etc, it goes on and we're down to about 2 people, myself being one of them. And there's about 4-5 fleshies in the kite. Although it takes a while, we kill all of the fleshpounds. About 30 seconds after I kill the last FP, there's about 4 raged scrake that rush us and we wipe... So husks raged about 4 scrakes on us right as we finish up the FPs and had pretty damn good control of the kite. I think we only had like 50 zeds left too. gg husks, gg.

Hiding from Drop Bears; Aus
My friends were speccing a game on Foundry (wave 6) a few nights back, where they happened upon two Supports who were planning on how to kill the Fleshpounds that would be spawning the next round. One of the Support's said "I'll torch the FP so it is easier to see". At first, they expected badness involving fire based weapons, but what happened the following wave far outshone anything they thought of (and it was kinda cute in a baddie sort of way). They were holding the top floor of Foundry, and when the Torching Support went back to weld a door, he spied a FP derping on the floor below. He stopped, turned to his team mate, then turned back to the FP and...

Began flashing his torch at it. Not shooting (presumably using team chat), just jumping up and down on the spot like a puppy, and flashing his torch at it.
After a while, he went back to welding the door and helping his team mate kill trash up front, but whenever he looked like he was turning around, the Support would run back to that spot and flash his torch at the FP. Not so much Fail, but it did bring a smile to my face when I saw the video. Gotta love pubs :D

How to wipe team, by Ilki.
Step 1: Prepare for Pat wave by switching from Sharp to Medic, and selling your M14 for Dual 9mm's and Poop gun.
Step 2 : Run with the team back to the camp spot where you will gank Pat ( he r gonna ded : 3 ).
Step 3: Realise that it is only wave 10, and that one of the team's main Scrake, trash and single FP killers is now completely useless ( read : Balls to the wall awesome ).
Step 4 : Wipe; and act like it was all part of the plan.

I'm so bad. I was played faked 3 with two other people on bioticlabs-2005. I was holding the right of spawn. Wave 10, I see a scrake with two sirens behind it. I shot one before it gets to the first door way. Then I realize there's more sirens behind it. I call for help and run back to the main holding place cause the scrake is blocking and I can't hit **** with the LAR with mutliple sirens screaming (mind you I'm at like 20 health now). The demo is busy reloading and we wipe. Well after I died I saw 3 sirens round the scrake, so I guess I got quad sirens behind a scrake. Looking back, I was so nub. Yeah, don't rage the sc first and get it out the way, just it with the LAR.... gg, me, gg. Ugh, just when I think I'm starting to not be bad, kf tells me I'm still a babby.

This was about 2 nights ago. I was playing a 6 man public normal long game on the Aperture map.

I'm a level 4 support specialist and there is another level 4 support specialist named Randy_Butternubs. After a few waves I begin to notice that I never see him during the waves. Never. He's always the first person at the trader between waves and always the first to leave.

I die about wave 7 (I got too cocky with a FP) so I start spectating. I find Randy standing in the main room of the map constantly welding the big door. He turns around every once in a while to kill any zeds coming up the stairs. A scrake comes. He kites it to the main team and then returns to welding the door.

The waves ends. The trader spawns BEHIND THE DOOR HE WAS WELDING. All 6 of us could not unweld the door before the next wave started. I'm down to just my 9mm by the end of the wave.

We finally make it to the patriarch. I notice Randy rushing off before the final wave starts.

me: you're real brave there randy
randy: more like dumb
me: lol

We have to track down the patriarch because he is too busy trying to get at Randy behind the big door. We finally kill the patriarch.

me: gg
randy: good thing i hid in here

I can't help but laugh every time I think about that game. Oddly enough, the other players never said a word to Randy nor did they try to kick him.

Fail?

Anyway I recently had this great event: We were playing 6p HoE on Filthscross and we bunkered ourselfes nearby the farest trader with few doors welded. While our Support Specialist managed to die in our group, his AA12 remained unused on wave 9. At the end of Wave 9 one hype-hype-playa killed the last clot before we could make it to the deepest trader.

The trader time WAS SUFFICIENT enough for all of us. One half of the team was already in position - the other half including me (as Sharpy) and the newly spawned supporter and a medic with us were on the way to the camping team. We were not far away.

This is how it all starts: The demoman with his LAW decides to give us an escort on his own and gets outside surrounded by a bunch of zeds and dies. 1 mate down by the start of Wave 10.

When the 5 of us got in position another Supporter dies right in the beginning of Wave 10 (not sure how it was, I was focusing at the big bad ones). So that's 4 remaining to face against the 350+ zeds.

2 Sharpshooters, 1 Medic and 1 Supporter. Did we make it?

We managed to hold out until 70 specimen were remaining. One line of Fleshpounds, Scrakes, Sirens and Gorefasts overrunned us all.
