OK I saved and saved and I have built a machine that will (should) run RO-2 pretty well:

AMD Phenom X3 720 @ 2.8
4 gigs 1333 ram @ 8-8-8-21
1TB Seagate Baracuda HDD
reused my HD3870 from my existing rig
new Sony DVD SATA burner
Asus mobo, 785G chipset
Cooler Master 700 watt PSU
Cooler Master Storm Scout case
Win 7 64 bit

This is a pretty stout upgrade from my AMD Athon X2 4000+ and Windows XP, 250gig hd, 2 gigs PC6400 ram. Needless to say my new rig runs RO and KF much much better...and we at Texas Militia are PUMPED for RO2 to come out!

yeah I have my eyes on the 5770 for sure. I paid 125 or so for my HD3870 about 18 months ago....and that was a steal. Once the 5770's are down around that level I'll kick down. For now the 3870 is still running fast and cool.

heh. I got a 4870 for $79 at Best Buy about that long ago ... maybe a little less ... :p

THats a big psu!

I got that PSU in a NewEgg combo deal with that case. I think the PSU and the case combined ran me like 150 or so. It was just one of those sick deals you find on NewEgg at times, couldn't pass it up. That PSU will be plenty should I ever decide to Crossfire my rig. Great case too, by the way. I'm a big CoolerMaster fan!
