Alot of the games I joined had random knives, syringes, and weilders dropped from dead guys and it's completely useless. Well heres a suggestion:

Dual Knives (1 block)

Do double damage with knives--primary as an akimbo quick slash and secondary as an akimbo "power" slash

Dual Syringes (1 block)

-Hold down the "aim-down sight" button to engage dual mode where primary fire will utilize both syringes at the same time
- When the aim-downs sight is not held down, only one syringe is utilized.
* This does not mean double the speed of heals, using both is synonymous with syringing a person twice in a row.

* Using both at the same time will use up twice as much regular syringe "meter"

Dual Wielders (1 block)

- Hold down the "aim-down sight" button to engage both wielders
- Without the aim-down sight engaged, only one wielder is used.

* WHen using both wielders, you get twice the speed of wield but you have twice the rate that the wielder meter is used up.

akimbo syringes would be akward, especially the animation where the medicine inside gets changed out.

Dual welders sounds stupid but could work. Sounds like something for the WTFmod to test out.

Dual knives seem wrong for some reason, but somehow dual machetes seems better.

No. Just drop the last weapon we used.

I think that if you die with the syringe, knife, or welder out, it should just drop your slot4 weapon. Slot1 if you don't have a slot4, and slot2 if you have neither of the above.

I mean, if one of your teammates dies, that's the first thing you'd loot from the body right?

Yes; I hate it when I am half-way through self-healing when a crawler fall on me, thereby making me not drop my tie3 weapon I just saved up for.

The only thing about my suggestion (which I just noticed now) is that it would screw over berserkers who end up dropping a bullpup instead of their katana or chainsaw.

Perhaps it should give priority to perk weapons?

Why did you put meter in apostrophes?

A meter is something that indicates something, similar to the gas meter on the Flamethrower. However, a metre is a distance.

Alternatively, they should just not be dropped.
Seconded.

The only function of the dropped welder is a monument to the team's failure, the dropped syringe is a monument to the individual player's failure (you would never drop it if you survive or go down fighting, and no medic would be that reckless unless they misjudged the risk).

The knife... well, that could mean anything, really.

Better to just not drop anything in these cases.

Maybe just have it so that if you have it out and die, that you go to whatever weapon is next?

Something that indicates something...hahah!

I assumed he was referring to the medicine phial, albeit awkwardly, that gets consumed with each heal. Meter in this context typically refers to a mechanical measurement of quantity, velocity, flow etc; "level" would have been more appropriate, as the level of fluid in a graduated cylinder.

Metre is a distance only insofar as you aren't American. Then it is the alternate spelling of meter, which is interchangeable.

dual knives....are we gona...poke them?
Its plausible, but i find it awkward.

Dual syringes, no. Dual syringe with medic perk bonus...no one will die...atleast from the way i see it. + self heal will be too imba, i doubt medic will be needed in that case.

Dual weld....no, we already have griefers locking people out + this is pretty much an exploit if you can keep a door welded "permanently". The point of the welder is to manage or control traffic, not to permanently keep the specimens out in order to focus in a "one dimensional shootout" where the traffic is redirected.
I can see, lvl6 supports welding 3-4 doors completely without any trouble with dual welders, + in the hands of other perks, its pretty much taking out the "traffic job" away from supports, killing the point the specialization of the support's perk advantage hence killing coop gameplay. Furthermore, really? dual welders? i don't want to "NOT" be able to nade welded doors in times of "oh **** situations" or when griefers try to weld the whole team out.

Dual welder and syringe, not needed. It could be a cool feature, or atleast in a mutator, like in wtfmut. Dual knives...it just seems odd, but it could work...i guess lol

+ medic heal points and support weld points would be waaaayyy toooo easy to achieve with those duals.

Dual Welders.......it still seems wrong. I mean, have you ever seen a construction worker with dual welders welding something?

And knives seem too short to properly dual-weild. Dual swords exist, but they use such things as length and balance.

Syringes.....how would you reload with both hands full? The animation is very different from that of pistols.

However, the ability to launch welders as a projectile is the where the real money is :D;)
