Why are there no aiming(ironsights) stances/animations of characters, I think I saw aiming stances with AK-47 but it immediately goes into hip stance.
There is no permanent aiming stance accurately depicting of what the player is doing.

It would be greatly beneficial because in many situations you would see the intentions and behaviors of players which then inform your own actions and also it would look good.

I'm surprised basic stuff like this is missing.

I don't understand what you are saying.

"It" (the stances) work when the character is moving, and "this" (making characters aim when the player aims) could easily be added into the game through a mutator.

Well if it's so easy why hasn't it been added in one of the many patches so far?

That's it.
And by "it" you mean "bull", right?

The third person player animations looking crappy has been a flaw of KF ever since its release.
Making them at least synchronous to what that player is actually doing should be well "worth it".

TWI fixed the throwing grenade animation not playing, they should fix that as well.

BTW, this has already been brought up quite a while ago.

Would aid in immersion alot, although it is obviously a totally cosmetic change. While we are at it, anyone else notice the insane crossleggedness of strafing? Looks well funny when you beat the Patty and freeze in the middle of a strafe. Squashed nuts ftw ;)

So what you are saying is that Tripwire doesn't pay attention to this game anymore if this could have been easily implemented a long time ago?

And it falls into the category of things that shouldn't be omitted anyway..

It would have been implented if it was absolutely neccessary, seeming that you can't aim in 3rd person, the only point of this would be asthetics. TWI is working on RO:HoS and their team that works on KF is countable on my 2 hands.

It'd be nice to see if the guy with the crossbow is zooming in to get the fleshpound that's giving you the mean eye, but it's not an essential priority to the game's development.

I'm guessing it won't be fixed, but I'm hoping I'm wrong.

Indeed, HoS has already been pushed back to a 2011 release, I don't want to wait any longer while Tripwire implement some piddly animation fixes for only the most **** of KF players.

Nope. This is a $20 game. Not $50. Not $60. It is a damn addictive fun game that puts gameplay itself above glitzy graphics. Would I prefer that KF look like BC2? Sure. Do I think it would be the same game and cost $20 (and sometimes $5 with dirt cheap DLC). Nope. And I'd make that trade every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

People need to stop focusing on what the game hasn't got and start focusing on what the game does have.

100% true, I see too many people whining about the game not being like MW2 enough with all these beautiful graphics AKA shaders/bloom and high tech weapons that would have no place in Killing Floor's setting.

A lot of people also don't take into consideration that Tripwire has done more than enough for the game already, take all the updates introducing new weapons for example.

Left 4 Dead. It sold at the average 50-60 buck shelf price, which is 2.5 to 3 times as much as Killing Floor was, after they promised new weapons and campaigns, etc. But those new weapons/campaigns/etc were never delivered. (Of course Crash Course doesn't count because Valve only made it to hush the community once they became furious and so many threatened to not buy the sequel)

Now Killing Floor, a 20 dollar game DID get more than enough new weapons and maps at no extra cost, even though they weren't promised at all.

Really, people should just wait till Tripwire fixes the few remaining imbalances then be thankful they even cared to do what they've done, unlike alot of game developers who just release nothing but DLC and take advantage of the players.

I don't see how asking for working animations equals "whining about the game not being like MW2".
Blowing things out of proportion makes a good argument not.

Take for example melee weapons in third person view.
Would it be too much to ask for if every single swing would be synchronous to how that player actually attacks instead of randomly not playing the animation at all?
