AHZ_ROVehicles mismatch?

Clients keep getting this error on connecting to our server of late causing a lot of player drops.

They can join if they know to delete AHZ_ROVehicles entries from their system folder but the fault re appears a day or so later. Im thinking it may be a server side issue.

Some of the maps it occurs on are -

RO-16-04-1945
RO-Halbe
RO-KrivoiRog-Enhanced_B4

Any ideas?

Most likely situation is that the mappers who used the file installed an old version, prior to the TWI release. There are a couple possible sources: a pre-TWI release of _vehicles or a copy/paste of the guns from "Elnya_beta1" which was a prelude to the package we are working on now.

The clients are getting kicked because they have the proper file via Steam and the custom maps are wrong. Remove the custom maps from your servers and get a message to the creators to fix them, or better yet wait until the new release comes out and update from that.

Ok thx Slyk, ill pull the offending maps from the cycle. Its a shame though i really like "RO-16-04-1945" it looks like a lot of effort went into it.

Never saw nor heard of the map. Best option is to track down the creator and talk to them about updating it properly. What are they using, which guns? And if you open the levels in the editor, are they gun factories Yellow or Red? If they are yellow, they are either pre-TWI patch or post. If they are "stock" guns, they will be red.

The map is an outdoors combined arms map that is very nicely done in my opinion. FPS isn't too bad either. Unfortunately I have only played it with around 8 players.

The drawback to the map is that there are about 5 billion destroyed tanks (yes I am exagerating; maybe 50 to 100) scattered about the map. If the creater of the map were to remove most of them, that would be great.

On a related note, I have seen some average to decent maps pop up on servers that I download and most of them are not that bad. Probably first time maps for someone, but a few of them seem to have way way too many destroyed tanks on them. Cut back on the junkyard look and it will be much better.

The maps can support both tank and infantry engagments. Best ive seen for a while, my opinion anyhow ;)

Theres plenty of dead tanks, downed aircraft on the ground and caught in the trees. Nice wooded areas, with the trees nicly spaced to allow tanks to pass though., great for concealment, ambush etc. This pic probably doesnt do it justice.
