Ok has anyone noticed these people that join a server join a team then never pick a class so they dont spawn but they take up server slots. Lately i have been seeing a few of these late at night that stay on servers through mulitple maps they always join a team but never pick a class so they are just wasting space for others to join. Is this what people do to piss others off since theres auto kick for tks and cheating is always banned by vac? They have to be there because they do pick a team.

exactly just go spectate or leave the server. the thing is some of these people stay for hours on end. sometimes theres a couple of them and they always join the same team so the teams are instantly off by 2 but at a glance it looks like the teams are balanced.

This happens a lot. People will click 'Join' on a server, walk away, and never come back. Once the map loads they automatically get put on a team, so the people aren't selecting a team and just not picking a class. People just wander off while their comp loads the map, never to return.

Cant bash them and take the weapon because they never spawn. Vote kicking is worthless. it takes too much effort and too many people dont know hot to do it. Its almost impossable to get more then 4 or 5 people to vote and thats with someone activily tking and stuff.

there is actually an kick idler setting for admins, too bad nobody will use it because the devs don't seem to be bothered that it kicks spectators and ppl when a team is out of reinforement because they don't move for some time....

On most servers, you need HUGE amounts of votes to kick people. Which you can't get. And if you lower the votekick number, it may be abused.

yeah this pisses me off to no end as well but i think its mainly up to server admins to manage this problem. no admins present means crap starts up on servers. i like 2manny's just b/c they have a whole slew of admins that are RO community members and there is almost always an admin present.

YES I have noticed them.
I sometimes go afk... rarely... and if I do... its no more then 5 min (the time I roll something or go get a snack)
I do not have patience... with that said, there is NO way that I will wait for a side or weapon...
I wish to go to the battlefield, cap and kill ASAP.

I often go in spec to help fill our server, but gawd knows if its full and i am afk feel free to vote kick me
SOOOO many times i have heard complaints about TKers and i wonder why people dont use this feature...the main reason being its buried from the "average" punters view...they just dont know it exisits.

I would certainly agree with this once the server is full buddy.
for me however staying in idle is invaluable since I can take any complaint i have about other players and put em straight even the next day as long as I can collect their data from the server.
When -62nd- server is full in future i will certainly enable this tho.
