Advice needed

I'd be grateful for any advice/suggestions concerning my system. As it is at the moment i average 30/40 fps (since last patch before that was 25/30 so thank you TWI), but this drops too many times into red/yellow (15/25 fps) and this is spoiling my full enjoyment of the game.
My system is now 2 years old so do i go for a full new system or upgrade parts?

Windows Vista 64 bit
i7 920 @2.67
6GB DDR3 triple channel 1333
GTX275 sli
P6T Mother board

Any help will be appreciated as its driving me nuts.

Should probably overclock the CPU, but you need to read up on that and feel comfortable doing it.

But did you tweak windows and RO2 ?
