Adrenaline Shot for the Medic

Some thing to make the medic better at helping his team, the Adrenaline shot uses the same model and animations as the Medical Syringe, but it is lime Green painted. Upon injecting a team member he gets the following effects:

*10% faster movement speed
*10% faster reload speed
*Slight blurring on the edges of the screen to tell him he is on drugs

Of course, this uses 50 recharge points each time, and all of the bonuses that apply to the Syringe apply to the Adrenaline.

It costs 800 pounds for any non medic class, and for a level 0 it has 20% cost reduction, level 1 30%, level 2 40%, level 3 50%, level 4 60%, etc. He spawns with it on level 5.

It weighs 2 weight blocks and the medic can also inject himself by holding it out and alt firing.

The effect lasts for 10 seconds for anyone, and it will not scale up with level/will not be reseted if you inject someone twice.

Thought, critiques, etc?

(Anyone who mentions L4D2 or any other game can go jump off a cliff or whine about something else. Chainsaw was in DOOM, Katana was in numerous games and movies, health syringe for gods sake was in Warrock, you dont see me whining "LOLZ ANUTHER GAEM WITH ZOMEBIES AND CHAENSAWS")

How long is this buff supposed to last because indefinitely seems a tad overpowered.

cool idea but it needs some sort of drawback. Medic and berserker are already fast, if you give them that it's kite city x2. My suggestion for drawbacks are this:

1. Shots have vials of single use ammo. Capacity goes up with medic level.



or


2. Keep recharge but players Overdose if they receive more than 2 shots in a singe wave. When you overdose on adrenaline you get the speed boost AND a health draining effect.

I think it's a troll, considering everything down to the blurring around the edges of the screen is what it's like in L4D2.

Lets face it, half the community would rage quit if adrenaline, Defib units or mounted turrets were added to Killing Floor.

Merely mentioning L4D is blasthemy round these parts.

Valve stole enough ideas that they are actually making a better game experience now. KF is a great game but the co-op feel is lighter. Perks break the game (and the community), and it has less overall packaged variety. KF has a grimy(good) atmosphere and satisfying gunplay. Might not be enough to draw in customers though. I hope to god they make a sequel. I will buy KF2 day 1 bugs and all.
