Currently when you press the mic down for either public, team or group you simply recieve the little radio gauge or what ever you'd like to call it.

I was just wondering if TWI could add a little bit of text underneath saying either 'Public', 'Team' or 'Group'. I get a tad sick when I hear people actually using the mic but then using the wrong button / channel, or asking 'hey am I talking in team or public' or any combination of the three.

It's a tiny little suggestion but I think a helpful one.

Helpful if it's the first day or two that the keys are bound, but really, after you have bound the PUBLIC, TEAM and SQUAD keys, and used them for a night or three, do you really forget what they are?

Besides, the little icon that you are transmitting might not say public or team, but the actual indicator of who is talking does; including your own. You will see your name on the left of the screen when talking and it has text under it that indicates what VOIP channel you are using. The transmit icon is only to indicate you are actually transmitting and the volume.

It'd be nice to see.

We also need some game-world indication of who's talking, both VOIP and the canned responses. It'd be pretty useful to know if the guy saying "MG behind the right traincar" is the one standing right next to you or the one 50 meters away. The typical icon over their heads would suffice.
