Adding a backpack

There aren't any backpacks that aren't part of the player model. But you could easily do a backpack. I would look at the ammo belt code. Basically you just need to attach your backpack to the same bone as the ammo belt (or even one of the other spine bones) and then offset its pivot point so the backpack is in the correct spot.
