Achievements not updating

No matter how many times I complete the Farm and Bedlam on Hard Mode, Long games, I cannot get my achievements for these maps to register. Others I have been with on those maps have gotten the achievements which tell me it's not a server error.

This also means my Hard War achievement and Summer of 2009 achievements wont work either (since these are the last maps I need for those achievements).

I sent in a ticket to Steam and they basicly told me it wasn't there problem and I should contact Tripwire but that's all the said. Not really sure who I need to contact.

Just confirmed Merry Men is also broken for me. Also stock mutators don't seem to be allowing me to use my perks. I tried deleting my system file then verifying integrity to reinstall it.

never heard of this one being bugged.....remember it can be only crossbows. no grenades, knives, pipebombs or any other weapons can do any damage to the patty.

the stock specimen-only mutators were removed from the whitelist after the last update. that means if you use them perks will not work and you cannot level your perks. Xienen explains why in this thread. if you want to play these mutators for fun/challenge then i suggest using this mutator so that you can have perk levels to select from so you don't get stuck at level0.

as for the hard "map" achievements, they've been reported by some other people to be bugged and have been for a while. sometimes all it takes is to restart the game or Steam and they'll trigger or i've heard they'll just randomly trigger one day, that is if you actually beat the map etc... hopefully all the achievements that are still buggy will be fixed in the next update

Merry Men only goes to the one that gets the kill on the patriarch even though EVERYONE must be using xbows.

Well, 2 days ago I would have complain about Bedlam one, but i've get it yesterday, even if Patty killed me.

But the one that really don't work, it's the "Kill 2 Scrakes in a single wave" one. I've done it so many times... Don't have it ><'

Merry Men finally worked for me. A few people got it on the map I was playing on while I did not. I played another map later and I got the achievement but someone else with me did not. Still no good on farm and Bedlam. I guess I'll just keep trying.

Thanks for the info on the mutators. I like playing Poundemonium! but without a perk it hurts a LOT.

you can definitely download and use that perks replacement mutator i linked in my previous post and get to play poundamonium with any level you want. you can't level but it's still pretty fun if you can have a non-0 perk

Try removing your system folder and redownloaing it through steam. Basically do steps 1-3 but instead do it in your copy of kf rather than over a FTP to a server. Then once you have reinstalled your system folder again, hopefully that might fix it

If push comes to shove, delete your copy of those maps and re download them through steam. I think sometimes the game doesn't get updated properly and I reckon thats what causes the issue (at least that was the case with my server). Who knows maybe you'll get lucky
