Can't they introduce the Fedorov Avtomat? for the sake of balance.
Also in battlefield bad company 2 for example, the server can block for example the sniper class. Would be nice if the server could decide which classes/weapons can be used.

Talking about MP40, it became as rare as MP40/II and MKB were in real life. xD

There are too many Mkbs. Period. I have found playing less fun since the patch and these guns are the reason. I have nothing against it, I like it, I don't even mind it being in the game.
But there are too many as things stand, and I'm not sure how they could make it otherwise now.
EDIT: I haven't actually seen an mp40 since the patch - surely this should be the other way around? I mean I know people want to try it out but...

I don't think so. Seeing how RO2 turned out, TWI doesn;t have the spine to nerf those weapons, as it may piss off some of their beloved CoDcrowd,
IMHO it's really balanced and realistic at the same time.
Germans get their high quality weapons, and Russians raw firepower.
And you still get single shoted... not even necessarily in the head by pretty much any weapon

Yea maybe but then the russian side should have at least 2 times more people fighting the germans, since that is realistic.

I like it, just because its not the same weaps over and over again. I will be the douche and always use it.
While Ruskies dont even get what they had IRL, as in PPSH drum.. trololo.
Only after Stalingrad Germans started fielding more full auto weapons, till then most of the had rifles while Ruskies trolled em with PPSH platoons.
I love rare prototype weapons for variety's sake, even MP40/II, but not for every single dude out there that reaches rank 25, or MKB for every single assault and SL dude that got DDE.
