? About KF Game Edition's

I purchased KF from Steam about 11/24/14 and recieved the holloween edition. hover the Holloween stuff had expired and only got Kf with a KF mod that did not seem to work. I played the regular KF game and added som mutators to it. the game was and mutators seemed to work ok.

Last weekend there must have been an update or something because I could not connect to my standalone dedicated server. I quess I will have to update the didicated server files to fix that.

My question is:

Do I have to buy the Christmas Edition to get back in a online mp game? Or can I continue to play KF Sp and muiltiplayer with my KF-Holloween Edition?

These are events turned on during holidays, not editions. Unless a user has manually turned it off, Steam clients automatically update games so this generally isn't a problem with players. Servers need to be manually updated. In order for players to connect to a server they need to be running the same build version of the game.
