Still sounds like a pretty useless sidegrade to the hunting shotgun.
A single alt fire can take out a sc on HoE if done right iirc, I'm not sure what you're after.

Well, the topic of this forum is "aa12 replacement - any perspectives", and I think only using the AA12 for end game every time with Support is pretty boring, so I am offering suggestions as for end-tier replacements.
So what I'm after is a sidegrade to the AA12. Cause using the same end-game shotgun every time I play support is a little dull.

Hm, an aa12 reskin basically, a bit like the scar & fal duo? I could live with that. The new steampunk shotty could have gone that way, but it's a bit weak.

A few design possibilities:
Daewoo Precision Industries USAS-12

Heckler & Koch HK CAWS

The last shotgun you posted is an airsoft gun. The combination of box magazine and tube magazine doesn't make sense.

H&K CAWS and USAS-12 could be a nice replacement.

A normal Pancor Jackhammer could be an alternative as well (the steampunk shotgun is based on that one). An Armsel Striker could do aswell (although it would be better fitting as a replacement for the KSG).

A little quirky but hilarious would be a belt-fed, 12ga, automatic shotgun (much like in Metro 2033).

Or a Saiga 12, either belt-fed or with a drum magazine.
