...I have no idea as to how to place them in the map. I can load them up in the script viewer just fine, but there is definitely something I'm missing as I'm clueless as to how I'd go about giving them an actual place in the map.

You select them in the actor browser and then right click where you want to place them. Then right click on the icon that appear and configure it to your mover.*
