Regardless of who you are playing with be it john doe or a twi dev. I think that if you generally want to play with only your clan mates you should have locked the server. Public people joining a public server, even if you own the server in my opinion should be treated as visitors, and should be given preference over server owners as long as the server is public.

It was a "friends" game and he's on my friends list. So that doesn't work.

And yes I told him that another CC member wanted to join before we kicked him.
