A few days ago I was playing alien swarm with some CC buddies (Crack Clan).

There were 3 of us in game and Ramm joined as the 4th. Unfortunately another CC member wanted in and so... I hate to admit it... we votekicked him :eek:. I know right, the ultimate sin.

I just want to say I'm sorry bro and it's nothing personal :D.

Now let us all raise a glass to hail the ROHOS dev team!

Alien Swarm is a great free game from valve, I play it more than left 4 dead 2 and Killing Floor.

Of course, the decent thing to do would have been to mention that a fourth player from your clan wanted to join...

Why is it so hard to do something simple like that?

Regardless of who you are playing with be it john doe or a twi dev. I think that if you generally want to play with only your clan mates you should have locked the server. Public people joining a public server, even if you own the server in my opinion should be treated as visitors, and should be given preference over server owners as long as the server is public.

..but that's not how it works with Alien Swarm. You pick 'play with friends' and anybody on your friends list can join. There is no 'locking the server' other than designating your game 'for friends only' as far as I know.
