no really, thats its name.
Creep. what comes to mind when you hear that word? a stalker? perhaps. something unnerving? maybe. something disturbing? unsettling? does it cause you that little beating, fleeting, ever-so-skeeting fear in the back of your head that something, some...THING... is coming for you?
Creep.
3 years since the good city of london turned into a killing floor, a new Specimen has emerged.
The creep has the ability to teleport. however, the technology that allows him to do so was never finished before his rushed cloning process. this causes him to spasmatically teleport quite short distances to his prey, attempting to evade attacks by teleporting diagonally in a zig-zag motion. as if that wasnt enough, he can climb upon walls and ceilings using said technology.
Creep has the health of a Husk/Siren, and his method of attack once close enough to his prey is using the bladed leather gauntlets that have been strapping to his arms to lacerate prey, constantly attempting to dodge as he continually slices at prey. unlike the FP, he won't hesistate before attacking. rather, he'll get straight to it, slashing away. the key to killing this Creep of a creep (heh) is to use ZED time to your advantage, predicting where he'll end up in his next few teleportations (which shouldnt be too hard, considering how short they are.), and wiping him out. therefore, the best perks for this abomination are a cluster of Lead to the face (Support), a few bursts of Rifle fire (Commando) or perhaps a well-placed grenade or burst of flame to the face.
He would also serve as another check toawrds Beserkers, teleporting away from melee strikes with Ease. (i've always wanted to see a Zerker try and kite a Specimen, only to be luck to score one measly hit in.)
Creep will not spawn in half/dozens like clots, crawlers, sirens, GF's, and the like. rather, there would be around 4-6 per map, using the chaos ensuing around them to their advantage and distracting the team, potentially causing them to get mobbed and destroy what progress they had made.
his voice is audible, but hushed, as if to create uneasy tension between a team as they beat back the horde. i'm still working on quotes at the moment.
opinions? suggestions are welcome, of course, seeing as you lot have been very helpful with my last few threads.
i'm also eager to hear what Nutter Butter thinks of this, as i really do enjoy his specimen concepts.
thanks!
