Hey guys i have a steam id of a guy that uses aimbot but im wondering how i can get his ro2 Unique ID without waiting for him to join our server again. So if one has a steam id number is it at all possible to get his Unique ID from it? Thanks.

If you only have the Steam Community Steam ID version, then convert that to the In-game version using http://www.vacbanned.com/http://www.vacbanned.com/. Using the Windows calculator multiply the numbers after the colon by 2, add the number between the two colons, it will be either 0 or 1, save that number (click MS), then convert that number to an eight digit Hex number, to do that clear the screen (Esc key), go to "View" change to "Programmer", click on the Dec bullet, click MR to recall the number, click on the Hex bullet, make sure there is eight digits

Out of curiosity, Punkbuster is ONLY handling hack/exploit bans? Because I've noticed a sudden rise in griefing and intentional TKing and it seems like the built-in disciplinary features for RO2 are either glitched and non-functional or just set to be way too tolerant. I had a pair of jokers just earlier today that followed me from server to server constantly TKing me in spawn, and they never even got kicked because they kept their score in the green by getting kills between shooting me. I'd feel a bit better about RO2 if I knew that behavior like that would get them banned from every server with Punkbuster enabled if they got caught eventually.

This, I believe, was supposed to be handled in part by the honor system. I thought I read in an interview that players that constantly TKd would lose honor and that server admins could set minimum levels.

I don't know if any of this is in place (not that it matters with the stat disaster situation) or if the hit to honor would be enough (it's -2 per kill I think, and you get 10+ just for standing in a cap zone). Your best bet is servers that kick after a certain amount of TKs or active admins.

Eugh! So you're saying that a player could spend the first round building up a large reservoir of honor and then be free to go on a TKing rampage during the next round as long as his supply of honor points holds out? That's insanity.

Well if people stick to VAC secure servers (which use a delayed ban) people can grief for a good week or so, assuming the hack is even detected. And after that they can still play the game assuming they don't plan on joining VAC secure servers.

This is why proper admining of servers is so needed... it doesnt help that punkbuster is awful.

Thats exactly the reason I dislike the honour system which is directly copied from americas army. One of the TWI devs worked on AA2 and was incapable of seeing this obvious flaw in the system. I played AA2 once and on my first round there was a high honour level tking everyone....

I'm sorry, but PB so far is near worthless. Only 16 bans so far, and half them are on two servers, one of which is an official TWI server. We pay in performance degradation and lag for 16 bans in 2 weeks? I'd be interested in knowing the number of VAC bans to date.

This man has the right idea, for the number of cheats caught doesn't outweigh this pos program.

As I have already pointed out to you in post #180 of this thread, EvenBalance are Globally banning all players currently being detected for cheating and possibly all detections in the future. This means these players will be permanently banned from any server that is or will enable PunkBuster in the future. Here's another player Globally banned, but not on the MBi: 00000000000000076561198011098684

As well Nick from EvenBalance has stated (here) they have detected many more then what is on PBBans MBi.

Can someone check a guy called OOOODDDIINNN (or something like that) 85 kills in a match, next guy had 30. 335 points total, over 100 points more than next player. Hmmmmm......

Was on the [Brothers] server last night and some ar$ehole racked up 87 kills in 10 mins. Ruined a good server since the Brothers clearly are not streaming,

ehh....kills are not necessarily a function of cheating. I remember we went the distance =TaT='s apartment server and I got 80 some kills with my MG...and I don't hack.
