honestly as excited as i am for the game, i dont see how an HD video vs. all the ones that are currently uploaded would add much... HD would only make it easier to enjoy the graphics, which as good as they are ,.. are far from what I am most excited about
This so hard. It's rediculous how everyone here *****es and complains (often people that are new, like myself) about TWI not releasing anything. Would you rather have the devs slaving over a computer making a fancy shmancy video for you all? Or would you rather have them slave over a computer making the game better? think about it peeps.

Heh... I didnt see how important they were either until i saw everyone complaining about lack of HD videos and the new poeple going: should i buy this without having any quality footage to show me what im buying?

It just irritated me because of how easy it is to make an actual 10 minute or less gameplay video that would solve this and still we have nothing. I just got a bash from a dev. with a succulent dressing of boot-lickers. Yum.

Sure, i wasn't being absolutely serious with the post but given the circumstances they perhaps needed a little "nudge" or wake up call to fuel the advertising campaign with the cheap and easy to make content that the community is asking for.

It's not just that, it's the amount of people asking for HD footage over the videos that are already out. There's plenty of footage out there already and there will be more to come. If people can't cope with that then they don't exactly need to be here. It's the spoiled brat syndrome, people are used to devs pouring out hours and hours of gameplay videos and EPIC TRAILERZ and now that one is too busy focusing on actually making a game and not an interactive movie people are practically flipping trucks with how  they are.

I do think it;s funny how some people think that taking on the tone that the OP is doing, is going to change TWI's answer to a question asked, and answered, over and over and over and over.

I have no idea of marketing, but I would rather like to watch a video from the release candidate in a few days than a rushed video from the (outdated) beta now.

The problem is that isn't the case at all.

Some of us just have the intelligence to look for info and find out that there are several reasons WHY there haven't been any new videos yet, most of which relating to the fact that Tripwire wants to save it for their own really nice ones.

That and they have been working on one as well. It's not something you can just throw together in 30 minutes, that would look pathetic and cheap. They want to make it right and that takes time.

When have you become the authority to tell a Developer of a game how to do their job, they don't come to your job and tell you how to cook the fries. I am sure that they are fully capable, they have been doing this a while.
