Not to derail this, but it depends. Some blanks are loaded with different and often faster burning powder so that they can create the same pressure to cycle a semi / fully automatic gun.

Night time is good, but they are looking at getting more stages from the weapons other than just the flash

Heres a PPSH 43 in slow mo... YEAH slow mo b*tches. there is more smoke than muzzzle flash, but i think that smoke looks better in games than muzzle flashes.
also the song to this video is bloody creepy when watching a weapon fire in slow mo...

I think the first one is .22 caliber, so that wouldn't be good enough to use in-game (which is 9mm).
Does TW need any more? I can go on some more hunting sprees if you'd like.. or looking for any weapon in specific? I'm still not even sure if any of these other ones have helped
I think in general it would be nice to see the muzzle flash for weapons that have a muzzle break, as then the muzzle flashes seriously look different.
Like for instance the PTRS where the flash goes to the left, right and forward.
Or the PPSH where the flash goes left right up and forward.

Hey, I don't mean to so blatantly bump this topic, but does Tripwire still need help with this? I haven't really gotten any feedback with what I posted if it was helping or not. Or if I should continue. Of course if it is helping I'll keep looking.
