just got off a sever 75% + of the kills was headshots
this on a ranked sever
after three round i left the team i was on to watch
people doing headshots with SM from 300m
i could hardly see what they were shooting at but a shot burst headshot at 300m +
people are really getting good at RO2

It's mainly because people are peeking out with their faces.
RO2 has a very unrealistic manner in modeling the factual accuracy. I'd rather play RO1 because then you at least have a chance on, for example, FallenFighters. Instead of being sniped from beyond the fog 200m+ without any warning.

Well, seeing how you exaggerate with the distances (which map did you see a 300m kill? The longest kill I've ever got was 225m, and that was a looong shot), I'm pretty sure you exaggerate with the percentage as well.

Also, as far as I remember - you don't get the distances shown when you spectate, but I might be wrong on this one.

But nearly every shot in RO2 is a hit, in real live not every bullet hit :D

The weapons are to accurate in RO2.

STOP! I know weapons are accurate, they are produced to kill, but in real live there are a lot of factors that make it difficult to hit with every shot.
You can

Pfff 300mtrs...i have done that once, was a lucky shot. I knew from which location the shooting came from.

Keep in mind that in reality hipshooting also happened.

Another problem that adds to this is that the feedback you get from incoming fire is much weaker. Muzzle flashes are very hard to see on most maps (which is real I guess) but the sound design could do a better job. It really makes me miss the bullet snaps from DH.

And to get back to topic I agree that it's to easy to snipe with SMGs.

That's how I see it.... with people using cover and poking up and around things to shoot, most of the time all you have to shoot at is a head..... other times when it's not a head shot, it's usually because they're running from one spot to another and fully exposed.

Usually when you spectate a specific player, it will show you who they killed and at what distance, and also show you who kills them, but with no distance.... as if you were that player in the game.

Last I spectated, which was a while ago, so I'm going from memory as well.

That hasn't been my experience.... I find I need to lead targets more in RO2 than in previous RO's.... and with players moving around faster than in previous RO's, not every shot is a hit.

If the guy is standing in one spot, than yeah, you point, shoot and it's usually a hit.... just as it should be unless your weapon has a bent barrel or broken rear sight.

The weapons are to accurate in RO2.

I've darted and zig zagged around on all the maps and have had many bullets wizzing by me..... and I've missed a good number of targets myself..... again, if you're standing still and exposed, you're an easy target... if you're running around and jumping from one cover to the next, it's pretty difficult to get a good shot off, especially at longer distances.

STOP! I know weapons are accurate, they are produced to kill, but in real live there are a lot of factors that make it difficult to hit with every shot.

I have become proficient with rifles in RO, mainly with the glorious Mosin-Nagant 91/30, and I can tell you that you can very easily miss a stacionary target in RO2, even while in max acurracy mode (lieing down perfectly still, aiming down sights and 'zooming').

Perfect example is in the Grain Elevator, where I camp a lot on the upper floors and pick off Germans at a distance. I've missed countless times MG-Shutze's camping right infront of me in a hole without moving.

The problem isn't the guns are too accurate. It's just that in this game you bring up your rifle sights PERFECTLY EVERY single time. It gives the effect you can't miss because you don't have to worry about lining up your sights . I doubt there's much you can do about this unless you make the player have to line up the sights individually make it like QWOP and make most of your player base rage.

Well it happens constantly because...

it's so easy to do in-game!

As long as its pathetically easy for RO2 players to pull this stuff off, while underfire, after being wounded, after sprinting across a field, with none of the problems of real life, you're going to have the frustration of stale-mate battles where no one dares walk out in the open. Fire and maneuver really doesn't have any basis in gameplay ...
