Mine is still better. ^^

Ok so it's heavier than the trader says it is and takes a second to long to reload... lol.

Anyway, back ontopic, wait no... I had nothing to contribute to this thread... I think I had a quick play with the weapons and then went back to my hole.

Carry on people, nothing to see here.

If they had to make a quick hotfix, at least they could've gone the other way: Single and dual both weigh 2. The gun is close to useless anyway.

Untrue, a support could use a katana and magnum instead of an axe, and a medic could go xbow/MP5/magnum due to the magnum weighing so little.

It's unfortunate that lazy coding trumps balance, but whatever. The magnum glitch was pretty hilarious, but I guess it was saturating the gameplay.

What is/was this Magnum glitch you speak of?

By buying dual magnums and selling one, buying one, selling one over and over in the trader, it was possible to drop your weight into negative levels which would let you both carry more weapons and run faster. For example, a Sharpshooter could kite a raging Scrake, Fleshpound or even the Patriarch and never be caught by it.

Fairly novel and humorous the first few times but obviously glad to see it removed. :)

I think the coding is wrong. they should do it like you have to force buy the single magnum before buying the duallies.

cuz if we do it like you say I believe it will then make both duallies and singles both weight 2.

but if you ask me I think you dont need the duallies ability for magnum at all. because it is usless as duallies :) then problem solved :D

TWI, sorry for offensive, but you guys suck in bug-fixing. You've done amazing job in creating seasonal events, new maps and weapons - BIG THANKS for that. But when it comes to making small adjustments to improve game balance or fix glitches - you mostly doing nothing, but when you're trying to fix something - you make it even worse. I don't like the way you've fixed "nade bug", but this one - you just made .44 useless.

P.S. I know *ss-lickers will downvote me hardly for this message, but I don't give a **** - someone was supposed to say it.

I wouldn't say it's *that* big of a deal, certainly no need to tell them they suck or call people that don't like your post "@$$-lickers". If it's a mistake, it'll get fixed.

New Awzm weapons or minor bug fix?

Tbh I like IJC weapons way more than TWI's new ones. So I choose bug fixes.

And don't say TWI has no time to spend on KF. KF had twice more players comparing to RO2 before the event and now it has 3-4x more players. So I think KF should be #1 priority in support list. At least until KF2 development announce (I hope it will be).

Some people say TWI is not supposed to make free updates, so be happy to get what they give to you. WRONG. Many new players buy KF during each event + KF fans buy DLCs, getting characters they will never play, just to support TWI + existing players buy extra copies as gifts to their friends or create another steam account to try KF from level 0 without resetting current account's perks. So TWI still getting money from KF.

I wonder if TWI guys do any testing after applying updates? I think it's not so hard spend a couple of minutes to check weight of the gun you just tried to fix? Damn, launch another Beta - community will test, find and fix all bugs for you...

Honestly, it seems to me that this whole big update was a cheap gimmick in order to try and tear away cowadooty kiddies and pry open their wallets for something other than the latest $20 DLC map pack. Ice Cave was an ok, not great map (the spawns are, like on santa's lair on release last year, sort of broken) but the weapons are all completely lacking in identity and almost completely in use.

The M4A1 has been universally reviled by the TWI community for being a bland american gun from pretty much every other FPS; despite protests it was added. It possesses almost no noteworthy qualities, being just another 6 kilo AR that costs as much (and holds exactly as many rounds) as an AK. The constrained irons lead me to believe that it was supposed to be some sort of discount SCAR, yet it lacks even the power for that.

The version with the m203 underbarrel grenade launcher is a failed compromise: It has neither the power of a real AR (at least not off-perk) and is too heavy and bulky to work as a grenade launcher. Worse yet, as I've previously stated it compromises Demo's identity as a mid-long range perk.

The combat shotgun (Benelli M4 Super 90) is another failed compromise and a rather useless weapon for all but lvl 0-2 supports that can't carry 18kg of shotgun yet, as it lacks the mag or reloading speed of the regular pump gun yet can't do the concentrated damage spike of the coach gun AND is outlandishly priced for what should be a low-tier entry weapon. Oh, and it's a got a fugly duracoat tacticool look. Why do shotguns get all the best irons?

The MP5M though, has to be the least inspired of all the weapons. It's an MP7. With a larger magazine. And a slight damage increase.
...that's it. With all of the great ideas regarding the medic floating around, why just make a stronger hammer?

The Husk gun was actually quite an interesting addition, yet the firebug still occupies quite an awkward space. I think I've seen one person use thing above hard since release. No one plays firebug, and it'll take more than a shiny new toy to fix that. Still, at least TWI listened to the forum on one count and gave him a new and unique toy.

The Claymore is almost as boring as the MP5M. It's a fire axe. That does more damage. And you can't carry a LAR with it.
...that's it. (Oh, and you can't quickswitch to your katana with it)

The .44 mag (S&W M29) was actually one of the few truly good and unique additions as per the xmas patch, with the exception of the husk gun probably the only one. I was enthralled with it when it was first released, and now that it weighs as much as a deagle brand deagle is beyond useless. The cure is much, MUCH worse than the disease.

Honestly, I've nothing but contempt for this update and am wondering if TWI's peaked. If someone can explain why I'm wrong, show me the silver lining, PLEASE
PLEASE
do so.I've done nothing but speak praises of this great indie dev to all I know and this, among other things has really shaken my faith in them.

As far as I can tell, it's just a glitch, like what happened with Claymore on release (Was supposed to be 6 weight, but was actually only 3 once bought, making it a SUPER EFFECTIVE! weapon).

Should be fixed soon enough.

I really hope the magnum weighing 4 instead of 2 is a bug, because out of the new weapons It's probably the only one I use (besides the new medigun) as berserker and demo. Anyways I hope it gets patched soon, and if the change was intended than that sucks as I personally feel the gun will be useless (dual magnums are already pretty useless).
