The 42 Commando are a British Realism Unit based and established in Tripwire Interactives 'Rising Storm'. Currently each serving member has vast knowledge and years of experience in WW2 shooter gamers, command and structure of units, and the realism concept, therefore we can offer an incomparable environment for like minded players who thrive for authenticity, realism and that classic game play that RO1 offered.

Why a British commando unit? that's not realistic!!

Although the 42 Commando CERTAINLY did not serve in the Pacific Theater, we had the idea at the beginning of forming the unit that would offer a Rank Structure and Command Structure more close to home, not to mention some of our real life military experience provided some inspiration for the name.

Are you recruiting?

Currently we are recruiting, if you wish to join you must add one of the administrators of the group and discuss it with them, currently our minimum age requirement is 17+

What server will you be running?

Our server will be running the Classic game type, with large scale maps only. We feel that using Large maps only, offers more in the way of drawn out infantry combat that players strive for. We will also be doing an event night or "realism night" as some know it, where the server will be locked only for players who wish to sample proper realistic game play while abiding by set rules while taking part.
