Ok, aside from facetious comments from other forum-goers, there clearly is something wrong there - a quick check gives me around 600 servers.

Do we have a fix for steams DoS connections? Zero servers/network loss etc?

Guys, try this. I had the same problem a few weeks back and this cleared it right up.
That "beta" was rolled out publicly a week or two ago. You can also try adjusting the "connection speed" in the Downloads+Voice tab in the Setings Menu. That will throttle the number of connections.
Hmm although it made the issue a little better( opting into steam beta client ) it still happens a lot. Especially when i quit RO2.
I Also still get 0 servers after i have attempted and failed a connection to a server and connection clogs up.
Granted its got better with the beta client, it doesn't take as long to get internet back, only a few seconds rather than a full 5+ mins.
Problem still there but not half as annoying, i can atleast get a few refresh' off ingame before it mess' up again. Its the same with the out of game steam browser.

What does it show you if you don't check any of the filters? Try just checking no full servers or no empty and see where that leads
You were given that info in the very first reply to this thread. Talk to the folks you got the game from. Hint: You didn't buy it from Tripwire, so they are not the people to ask.

Come to think of it, I too was in the Beta immediately before...hmmm.
EDIT: SOLVED by deleting everything in the Documents\My Games\RedOrchestra2\ROGame\Config file and let the game recreate them. I think the Beta is using the same folder and may have changed something?
