Say, any chance of getting delayed death messages in the server instead of instant? Don't really mind instant, but delayed just adds that little bit of tension...

Had some awesome games on this server. Keep up the steam-community works. I try to play as much classic as possible and your work helps a lot. I will join this evening, too. I'm looking forward to it!
Oh and nice custom maps. What is the name of that map with all those damaged factory ruins?! That map seriously rocks!

Just want to say a big thanks to the guys who run the [40-1] server and in particular, all the guys I played with yesterday afternoon.
For the first time ever in RO2, I played for about three hours straight. I jumped onto the server about 4PM UK time and played non stop until 7PM. Every game was awesome. Lots of voice comms, lots of team work, just an all round fantastic game. Think this is partly due to the custom maps which are breathing new life into the game, but the level of cooperation on this server is amongst the best I've seen. I played as the German commander for two rounds of Bridges of Durhizina (sp) with a set of excellent squad leaders. I got very involved, but hardly ever left the radio, as the coordination from the Squad Leaders and spotters was so good.
Cant remember everyone's names, but thanks to everyone getting involved and making it such a great game. My in game name is DaiaBu by the way - I hope to see you all again soon

Calling in an artillery strike just as the Soviets were capping the final bridge with barely a few minutes left on the clock was epic. I think I wiped out about half your team (including the tank) with one salvo Was a very close game, and those are always the best.

Finally signed up for these forums after ages lurking. Just wanted to come here and express my gratitude to the 40-1 Clan for hosting such great servers. Keep up the good work, and I'll see you in classic time this evening!

But most of the time when I join, these stock maps are playing : PavlovsHouse, CommissarsHouse and MamayevKurgan.
Could we have
- more custom maps?
- a rotation like : stock map - custom map - stock map - custom map - ...
- or even better, a map voting?

Just a suggestion:
You might move the map order around (if this is something you guys control) so that Pavlov's House isn't right after Mamayev Kurgan which isn't right after Stalingrad Kessel... a bit of a server killer...
...doesn't stop it from being my favorite server, though!

IMO this is out of the question.It has been tried before,and the server turned into Bridges of Druzhina 24/7.
I would like to know... who is able to kick players on the 40-1 Classic server?
Last night, I got killed and then kicked because I was binding my keys (and so, not moving during 30sec or 1 min)

Its so pity, this server hasnt enabled the best Custom Maps out there!!! What a shame, im missing Maps like Coldsteel, The Univermag (far best Map!!), Gumrakstation!! At the moment i find it boring to play Ro2 because my favorite server is running only boring maps. Sorry just my opinion. Pls do us a favor and add those custom maps, and remove All Stockmaps.
Anyone else have issues with Univermag running on the server? It just bombed out during the map load and kicked me back to the main menu saying something about a possibly incompatible version. I'm assuming from the re-downloading ingame that it ia a different version to the one on the workshop?

My advice is to unsubscribe from sws and rely on server redirect till worhshop has been fixed. Also remove map files from following folders:
C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\My Games\RedOrchestra2\ROGame\Published\CookedPC\Packages
C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\My Games\RedOrchestra2\ROGame\Cache
and download the map from the server

Just wanted to say I have never enjoyed RO2 as much as I have on this server. Really good games. Feels like a different game. I can't explain it.
