Map voting sometimes is nice, but it's still very broken ATM. Everybody votes for Spartanovka but you end up loading Apartments instead. And when it works, it's always the same maps over and over again. The TAT server has become Bridges of Druzhina 24/7. I like TAT and I love BoD, but the map is getting too overplayed and a lot of people are going to grow tired of it, just like it happened to Mamayev Kurgan. That's what happens when we get new maps that are just so much better than most of the others
Hummm, I haven't noticed that it's all that broken... Oh well, hopefully that will get fixed.
As far as TaT, that's kinda like their thing... in case you weren't aware. They still run a 24/7 danzig only server in roost and another 24/7 apartments only server in ro2 I'm pretty sure. The people that frequent those servers must enjoy that type of thing, so it is what it is.

Good games last night again esp. on Gumrakstation even though I got my bottom whipped. I like the map even though it seems a mix of an RO1 map (I forgot the name even after playing it hundreds of times), Spartanovka, Gumrak and Grain elevator but still heaps of fun.

Today the server has been patched with the latest update, fixing the issue with the custom maps.
The map list now contains 13 maps, 7 of them custom.
Maps: Mamayev Kurgan, Bridges Of Druzhina, Spartanovka, Butovo, Pavlov's House, Cold Steel, Gumrak Station, Station, Univermag, Arad2, Commissar House, Fallen Fighters, Ogledow.
Map voting is enabled
PunkBuster is enabled.
Once again, If your game crash after joining the server running custom map, you need to remove/delete the old map files and download the new version.
Cold Steel map has 5 files, delete them all to avoid crashes. The files are: TE-ColdSteel_xxx.upk + 4 files starting with: ENV_xxxxxx.upk.

Had some great battles last night on Univermag. Great map with full population.

Good games tonight, server has been full for the past 6 hours.
last game on mamayev was a shambles, drunk radio operators , pizza dropping into enemy hands, and arty crews on strike! (bugs I might add).
However even though we had to overcome these handicaps (the lack of pizza was terrible) we held on for a long time.

The 40-1 Classic has my support. I sit in it trying to seed very often.
The custom maps are nice too, but voting makes me sad, in that the choices are always the same. Just stick a custom map between each standard map for variety.

This is exactly what we do when we get server filled up: 1 custom, one stock
