in 3d studio max i've made some static meshes, and uvmapped/uvunwrapped them, so the materials look fine in 3dsmax, but when i import to kfed (3dsmax->ASE->ued SM import) the material mapping doesnt hold, some faces are kind of mapped, and others are skewed completely crazy.

what is the exact process i need to do in 3dsmax to get materials to map correctly to ued?
