my buddy found these posted up over at ltvtg and the are with out a doubt the best set i've seen in a long time. IQ is off the chart!!! you should see the difference with 3dm11.. it looked like FM updated it or something. jaw dropping difference..

No mention of these drivers on the Nvidia website. Not going to download that file. Oh never mind, thought these were graphics drivers.

you ever hear of dev drivers? or how about laptop video2go? i love guys like you. scan it like i did, as i do with anything that comes across my desk.. this set was scanned by avast, microsoft security essentials and avg by me after i downloaded it for those interested...

i didn't install anything but the graphics driver. i don't have 3d vision so i never install it and unless you are using an nv board the hd audio driver is useless. i use xfi and not on-board so i don't need those as well. and nview is useless unless you are running quadro.

as with any beta driver results may very and some might run into problems using them. but that's why they are beta.. I've had good results with this set in several games including 3dm11 and heaven 2.5.
these are for the 5 series and is the reason for the modded .inf so others can try them as well. that's the only part not from nvidia.

because they're graphics drivers and it's called being a part of the community. and this is the game i'm interested in,so.. if you don't want to test them then don't. i could care less. most gamers like to get news on better drivers and like to run the nv betas.. i'm one of them.

yea,if i feel they are a good set i will spread the word. i'm one of the founding menbers and beta tester for them from way back when it was Tweaksrus and JR was around. great bunch of gamers over there..

they looked good in game and ran great for me. make sure you just use the driver or you might run into problems. i forgot and installed it all and had to remove the other stuff aftter.. xfi is not to fond of the hd audio drivers. and the rest is quadro crap..

have you heard of the fiasco some time back where nvidia drivers caused malfunction in fan speed that resulted in broken video cards?

i'll wait until this has been thoroughly tested. thanks.

What is so different about the image quality? Does it apply to all games?

crisper and sharper textures, that sort of stuff. i noticed it with all the games i've checked out with them. the desktop looked better as well, much sharper.. benchmarks were no higher but they weren't lower either.

some have reported that the .inf mod didn't work for them but the one that ltvtg created does. one of the guys at TF created the one i posted up. he must have missed adding some of the gpus to the list in the .inf..

Yeah after trying these I have to agree -- my images look really nice. My performance is also better too, which I guess isn't typical.

Nvidia has been doing better with their drivers lately. I've actually been able to notice performance increases which is completely out of left field for them. Only just got the 266 drivers last night though.

Yeah have to download the tiny .inf file that is in his post and, after extracting the drivers (before installing them), drop the inf file into the folder where it is located. Make sure to copy AND replace it, THEN run set up and install.
