Im too against magic helpers, but you have to take into consideration that we look at the game throu a little window that is the monitor, normally, you would see the grenade in real life because you have more FOV, but that will be a problem until they create some cool hi-res VR glasses with a FOV of 270

Real people don't have a FOV of 270 degrees and grenades are already visible if you look for them. All we would need to get rid of those indicators without sacrificing anything is a good surround sound system with properly configured volumes for various sounds, like when a grenade hits the ground.

Hold out your arms ala cruzified Jesus, point your fingers upwards so the hands are easier to see and now move your hands as far back as possible. Stare at a fixed point in front of you. Now move the hands to the front. See where you can see them.
It should be somewhere around 120

Looks like Red Storm made Vegas and a bunch of console titles, too.

I know what you mean, though. It seems that 2003 was the "turning point" of Red Storm's independence. So Red Storm developing the next "Ghost Recon" doesn't mean much, unfortunately.
