1 : Disappearing sound after a map load. Whats even worse is that it even affect teamspeak.

2 : The weaponsounds are different after the beta. The echoes or env sounds that made the gamesounds really good are gone. why? is this a bug or done because it effects stability/performance? Cause i want the old sounds back.

-.- You and your onboard sound.

Most onboard sound cards today (on good MB's, especially intel chipset ones) are even better than standard creative sound blasters you can buy. There is absolutely nothing wrong with using an onboard sound card. And no, that doesn't cause your rifles from having low echo or different sound. I never played the beta but it seems that a lot of people are saying that sounds were better before. Dunno, they are pretty good now as well.

..you should probably stop talking about anything remotely tech related.

Have similar experience regarding sound OP, I remember them really sounding fantastic in beta, then I waited a week before playing and now post release they are very underwhelming. I thought I just remembered them wrong, guess that's not the issue tho

He just asked a question, jeez.

Yeah I'm sometimes experiencing these issues also. I have a sound-card also.

The onboard soundcard is a valid question. The thing that should be 'telling' is that you lose sound with Teamspeak as well, which has nothing to do with the game. This means that the problem is above and beyond just the game.

I would look at updating drivers and Directx.

Same here, on map change I lost all sound. Prior to that I've changed "MaxChannels=" line in config to 64 (it was 32 as default) someone said this will increase performance. I'll revert to 32 and see what will happen.
