Here is a wide pitch, but is your 480gtx redistributed by ASUS?
If so, find and uninstall GamerOSD.exe, and reinstall the latest video drivers.

We do. We have a good sample of currently-used systems. Right now I'm on a Q6600 and an AMD 5850. We have 3 more Phenom II X4 940/GTX470 machines, and 2 more Q/E6600 machines with a GTX 270 and an AMD 4870.

We also have some intel software dev machines, with Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge CPUs. We are well covered for hardware, and we test everything we do on all of it. :IS2:

At home, I have an i7 920 and a GTX580. The game runs fantastic on Ultra. This just goes to show that the issues that remain, aren't simple ones to fix.

I am one having unplayable performance issues. I too am using a /-\Phenom II x4 940 @ 3.00ghz and a AMD 6870 by xfx/-\(and tried 6850 also xfx). I have a saphire 4870 should I get it out and try it? Could it be the brand of card causing the problem? XFX is a cheaper brand. Could I ask the brand of the cards TWI is using? Is it possible my HP factory built computer Mainboard could be the issue? I don't know a whole lot about this stuff but if I could possibly help to narrow it down I would be soooooo happy.

specs:
os: vista hp 64
cpu: phenom II x4 940 3.00ghz
gpu: xfx amd hd radeon 6870 1gb
ram: 6gb ddr2 800mhz
psu: 600w continuous

well i updated my drivers to the latest before installing RO2 and for some reason was getting that low fps, then I saw they added beta drivers this week for geforce which mentioned red orchestra 2 performance, installed that and badabing, works great now!

OH man, if this is true then amd users will be waiting a while....AMD is infamously slow at their driver releases.

Exactly they are just CF Scaling caps.... They will eventually release drivers tweaked for this game. Right now they are trying to keep up with nvidia's performance on BF3 so....could be a bit.

I have noticed an interesting thing. When I cut back to the desktop, and then go back to the game, my frames drop to around 8fps and stay there until I have to restart the game and then it goes back to what it was before. Weird. Anyone else have this issue?
