Same here, slightly over 100 hours and still going strong (and I don't play as often as I'd like). I hadn't bought a game in a while waiting for this and it did not disapoint me.

I think my ultimate best buy was oblivion. i bought it on release and i'm still playing it.

Arkham City will probably be this years best game for me

As for RO2, honestly is just an OK game, nothing special; doesnt have that "magic" Ost Front did when i first played it. Somewhat bland and generic in my opinion.

This game has had its fair share of issues (not just within the game), but in the long haul it'll still provide me hours of amusement until the servers dry up. It has certainly tided me over to Skyrim, and Heroes of Stalingrad is still going to be my only go-to FPS experience for at least a year.

Either way, I'd say this game is quite a bit of a learning experience for both TWI and community, and I wish TWI great commercial success so they can still roll out more games. Because let's face it, as rough as RO2 was, they're still a small independent developer. And it's not like games like BF3 aren't glitchy and buggy either.

EDIT: Also, only 51 hours so far.

Honestly I find ARMA2 to be so realistic that its hard to learn how to even play properly. The game just gives me trouble left and right so I've never really gotten into it. Guess I really need to sit down and try to learn it.

If you give Arma a few months it will be a lot more fun to play.
It's a quite time consuming game to learn to play well. It's taken me roughly 4 months in order to truly feel that I can play it well. But that also depends on how much you play of course.

We'll I've played the ARMA series since the OFP demo almost a decade ago.

Plenty of experience with hugging dirt.

Gotta put yourself in a different mindset.

I stopped playing arma 2 though, too many addons and too time consuming. Had a blast playing with realism units....nothing like a proper hmmv convoy. Can't wait for ARMA3.

I've obsessed over arma2 and the stalker series. And I'll be damned if RO2 hasn't got me in the same stranglehold too. My gametime isn't racking up to the forementioned series but that's only because it is too intense for me to marathon like I do in slowpaced singleplayer :)

It's a great game and more than enough fun to make it my most played game in Sept/Oct/Nov. Hopefully some good mods come out to keep me playing it for years.

:)
Mine too, to me its more worth than starcraft 2 because that stresses me out too much. :D
And of course starcraft was way too expensive.

73h into the game and thats a lot for me.

For me it was simply too bugged and it had dead ends in the solo campaign, how can anybody play this?
And I had this in arma1,2 and the addon.

Another good buy: Mount and Blade: With fire and sword. $15

This game is made by a small company with much love. Addicting.

i am concerned/horrified by your taste in games...

its just a bland FPS that trys to do everything and actually achieves nothing. very far off form the best buy in years.
