Everyone I know (all HoE players) has now opted out of the beta due to how ridiculous the bugs are in it. Having the bugs (siren insta-kill, OP groundfire and fire DoT (on bosses), bugged parry effect on multiplayer) in the first place is not so great, but expecting us to keep playing with that garbage for 2 weeks... What data and feedback is there to collect that wasn't given in the first few days of the beta?

That being said, I like the changes you've made. However, you should probably look into balancing the SCAR vs. the med ar for commando. It seems like the med ar is better in so many ways.

I know what you mean man,if u play commando just use your tier1 weapon till weave 3 ,then buy the ak on weave 4 ,skip the scar and get the rpg instead.With the 50% fast change of weapons and 10% faster reload for all weapons,the commando class make a good use of the rpg,which makes the commando class now very all around,you can take care of the scrakes with your ak and the fleshpounds with your rpg and grenades (2 grenades 1 rpg kills a fleshpound on hoe).Also when u soot a big guy with the rpg ,he will not stumble the first time but the second time u shoot him.

Calm down. First of all, it's a beta; second of all, Valve makes people wait years before they ever address balance concerns in their games.

I don't believe I was being unreasonable or not calm. I wasn't hostile or exaggerating at all. I simply don't understand what there was to gain by continuing the beta for (at least) another week. The bugs that were introduced in this beta should be incredibly easy to fix, and some of them have made many matches unplayable (on HoE) due to the entire team being killed within a second. I believe that more useful data and feedback could have been collected if these bugs were addressed and patched once they were known, allowing us to have standard matches without over-powered damage values on both sides.

As others have mentioned the siren insta-kill is a pretty nasty bug in an otherwise fantastic update. I really like the new map and zerker weapon.

I'd say it's a safe assumption such animations will be inclucded, based on the sneak peek we were given at the end of one of the WWAUT streams, way back.

If I had to describe KF2's style in a word, it would probably be "goofy". The characters, their voice lines, the cheesy bosses with their cheesy one-liners, I don't think "stupid looking" animations would look out of place.

The gritty-grotesque look of KF1 is out and about.

I was curious if the Devs were planning on supporting custom game types anytime soon...Other than Survival, and Versus. I have noticed if a different game type other than the default types is being run it will kick the client at the end of a match on map change?! Please consider the community and their efforts in the future regarding expanding the game in possible different directions rather than limiting Mods. Thanks :)

can someone tell me what the siren insta kill bug is?

ive survived blasts from 2 sirens at once on HOE. is it intermittent?


the worst bugs are the lighting bugs, makes half the maps almost unplayable. just tried to play infernal realm and with the lighting glitches my screen is like unevenly pitch black. i hope they push to live soon.

The buff from the alpha clot king doesn't reset with the siren.

suposedly siren's buffed by alpha clots do very high or insta kill dmg, and if one gets buffed they will do that dmg for the rest of the game, not sure about the exact details, but seems to work that way.

i've kinda enjoyed that you have to be very careful of them, instakill is a bit much, but KF2 seems very lenient on mistakes, so seeing this was kinda refreshing, not like it should stay that way, but maybe a compromise.

i have yet to see those lighning bugs, maybe it's card/driver specific.

Oh well, it seems a little part of me just died. It's too bad TWI will implement this knee-jerky, "le random" cringefest for 12 year olds just because Overwatch and Team Fortress 2 did it. I thought the game was about people fighting zombies, not dancing like "specials". Throwing in some witty, coarse remarks and black humour fits the scheme since it is a thing which is relatively viable to do during a fight. It also makes characters look more badass. Exaggerated body expressions will make them look like clowns trying to entertain toddlers, believe me.

By the way, it reminds me of Rainbow Six: Siege. I liked it, played it much during free weekends, but never decided to buy it. And I'm glad now. Because the game was getting progressively more and more clownish. Initially, it was serious. Then they started adding colorful skins, charms, and recently some showy outfits. They also added emotes which made operators look like a bunch of tryhards trying to impress someone and making fools of themselves.

Ok there really needs to be a confirm button for selecting perks because sometimes I select a perk by mistake and I can't change it again which is really annoying.

Why has this not been done yet?

Can be played around, but this would really be the better way of doing it.

hopefully the emotes arent mad stupid.

id rather there be voicelines instead of emotes
