People report that landscape material is missing on my KF-IceArena map after the last KF2 update. How can I fix this?

Looks like "Crop" in my workaround leads to some issues with default material being used on some parts of the landscape. Or idk... Anyway I used the "Expand" option and was able to fix the default material in some parts of the landscape
I've probably found a workaround for this issue. In the Landscape Editor tool
- go into Landscape Info
- Change Section Size to 31(was 255)
- Set Sections per Component to 1
- Choose "Expand". Note: was Crop, but I noticed some artifacts with Crop being used.
- Click 'Change Component Size'
Surprisingly I didn't get any notifications on email about posts in my thread... Only for the first reply after which I visited the forum.
Not sure I have the uncooked version of my map, didn't even know it is necessary to keep it. Does the uncooked version store some valuable information?

You need to create a MIC and use the parent material same as on BlackForest map. In your MIC you have to define all 4 materials, otherwise you get the checker. And last, I don't remember if this is necessary or not but: you have to paint each of 4 materials somewhere on your landscape(it may be...
People started to report that they are falling through the landscape on my map KF-IceArena since last update http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile.../?id=642421282
I tried it myself in local game and wasn't falling through floor until wave 5. I was running from zeds and fell through the floor...
[TW]HyperSniper, is there any progress on this?
We've found a workaround. You need to override all texture channels(4 of them) and paint each texture somewhere on landscape.
I've opened several maps from workshop(including mine KF-IceArena) which have landscape and the material on landscape is reset to the default white+blue. This happened since some recent update.

I've opened my map KF-IceArena in latest editor and recompiled it. Noticed that static shadows from trees became very inaccurate. Here is a comparison

Lighting is set to production
It works fine with my LocalShaderCache and within the editor. But for others it doesn't work. I assume all custom maps which use landscape are broken by the update

Players reported they get the blue and white texture on the ground(landscape) in the latest KF2 version. So I've recompiled the map but it didn't help. In SDK editor all works fine. When cooking there are no warnings nor errors. But...
Well, I dunno how it's done. Only thing I can suggest is to convert your terrain to landscape. Then create a Material Instance Constant to apply to landscape. And paint your textures on landscape to replicate the original map's look. See mine KF-IceArena on how I made Material Instance Constant...
I had this too. AFAIR it was light related. Or this may be some material issue.
You can start by deleting entities from your map and find which entity's causing this. Of course you need to do it on a temporary copy of your map
you should mark the artifact in Paint. Because it's unclear what you mean, I don't see any shadow problems in corners of your screenshots.
If my telepathic abilities don't fool me you need to change some parameters of those yellow lights which are on the ground. They probably cast high quality...
