Thanks for all the help..... not :P Sorted my own problem, if you have another steam backup folder with any other steam game, copy the "steambackup" application from within, then paste it into your HOS "disk1" folder. Run "steambackup" as normal and game is restored.

I have a similar situation with a current and working install of HOS, backed up using steam. Installed new drive and want to restore.... So there's no way of using this previously taken backup? Theres no steambackup icon only similar files as shown above.

I tried this with my draytek and although it helped with my server browser list (pre-first patch) it does not help with the bug mentioned above by OP
