Totally love no kill messages :)

    Sway is WAY too small

Great post. Sway and the supported weapons mechanics was the defining thing in Ostfront for me.

My two and a half year old rig handles the game on medium!

To be fair, I am at a pretty low resolution, 1200x800 or something. (Still very good!)

A lot of ppl need to understand what a BETA is

Hear hear. To be fair though, I don't think that game developers are clear enough about this fact that is very simple to us that have grasped the concept.

    toggle controls = deal breaker

Lol, nice selfmoderation there. I agree fully with you though, that the toggle controls are very annoying, i want hold-controls for crouch and aim. Each to their own taste, this should be configurable. :)

My two and a half year old rig handles the game on medium!

Hmm, hadn't really thought about overclocking tbh, I thought my passive-cooled GPU was so big of a drawback that the cpu didn't matter much. I don't have the stock cpu cooler, i have a Zalman 9500LED big chunk of copper. Is that sufficient for overclocking? When i built the rig, i designed it...

    Post your very first impressions!

First impression of the game is really hurt by the lacklustre server browser. Then I find that my old rig can handle medium graphics, and the gameplay is VERY promising! But then the game chrashed to desktop.

Total biscuit is uploading a Red Orchestra 2 video

I watch a lot of TotalBiscuits SC2 content, nice to see him cover some indie games as well at gamescom. The use of the word penchant was totally distinguised.

An Open Letter To The Community

Great community interaction, right there. As a fan of Red Orchestra since the beta 0.2 mod days, I have full trust in Tripwire and their work on the next installment of the series.

    4PLAYERS.DE article & Screenshots

This is crazytalk. I had played over a hundred clanwars in bf1942 before trying RO beta 0.2, and I found that it had a quite steep learning curve, what with no minimap, friendly/enemy indicator, ironsights, no gps, etc. It didn't prevent me from falling in love with the game, because i enjoyed...

    Track IR Support?

Yeah, just read that. I guess head tracking is the core functionality here, if you want to control it with a mouse-key combination, trackir, freetrack, natal or whatever is subordinate.

    Track IR Support?

TrackIR or its competitors is just an alternative way to controlling freelook, instead of using the alt button + mouse, or joystick hat controller. So i guess the alt key or something to that effect would be the first step with TrackIR coming as a bonus. Freelook is great when you are in the...
