Advice for a terrible player? I realize there is that inevitable learning curve with a new FPS but I figured the transition wouldn't be this bad. I have about 300 hours in RO2 and really am feeling like the team I'm on is at a disadvantage.
I can rarely see the enemy before they see me (pop in...
My pings have been completely fine, but I seem to magically get disconnected/timed out by the time the 3 round is in progress. Really pisses me off and feels like a waste of time since I enjoy playing Realism the most and stats do help, but back to back games of over 250 points and not being...
I've had this issue occur 3 times always after a round or two. I won't notice anything is wrong until I run up to an enemy and they are invincible. It just happened to me in a fantastic game as an engineer, it hurts to lose all those delicious points.

I was thinking of making a thread exactly about that, but the stat reset makes me think now would be too late to change the requirements to leveling the pistols.
I am also confused why similar weapons have different requirements to level. For example I have both the SVT and G41 at level 13, but...
Seems like a reasonable request, though the TT33 is already pretty cool.
I would like to know how people already have level 25 and 50 pistols already. It took me a long time to even get the nagant revolver to level 1.
I found a somewhat workable method of copying another players rank.
I successfully had my rank at 42, then 73 and now at 85.
Join a Ranked Server, spawn then get killed.
Once spectating a teammate left click until you're viewing someone with a rank you want. Hurry you won't have much time...
In steam you just right click on the game in your library tab, there should be an option to create a desktop shortcut. Once you have that you can follow the directions in the first post of this thread.
Yeah I just checked, most games are 64x64 or higher and none go above 256x256 (the one I provided is at that).
For clarification, I was mimicking the BC2 shortcut but withheld the black vignetting. I tried it but you can't beat clean lines sometimes.
I'm honored if the icon I edited is the one they ended up using :)
All I did was crop one of the official wallpapers and do some minor editing, so it isn't anything too impressive.
I have one issue though, I think they shrunk the size for use in steam, and then steam uses the smaller resolution...
Didn't like the default shortcut icon, not sure if it will change once the game is released.

Then just change the shortcut icon to the new one.
I'm not sure if it will change once the game is released but I made something to replace the shortcut icon, which was an eyesore for me.

You can download the .ico file here...
I have encountered this as well. It reminds me of level of detail and objects popping into existence; but the ranges this has occurred has been less than 100 meters.
It is disconcerting, and I think if you see a player where this happens they see you the same way. I'm basing this on the several...
