I am going to be moving from USA to Mexico in about a week. I was wondering how good (if at all possible) the connection will be from there to say a west coast server?

What do you think about it? yay? nay? I've never done it but know how. I prefer to place ze bombs on like Doom in the area between hallway and blue room.

Anyone know of a good lag free west coast server? Ive been playing on fec servers but i would rather west coast lower ping for me :-)

Has anyone tried KF for linux? How does it run for you? My specs are: 8GB ram, NVIDIA 660M graphics, 1TB HDD, Intel i7, so I can run it at max res/graphics currently no problems on Windows 8, but I want to switch to linux but want to know how smooth it runs first.
