I think it's a cool PR idea if TWI would compare the new game to the old one. This way you can see how the game progressed in graphics, HUD and features.

Add rain. Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway did it pretty nice. It had 'rainy running water' textures and all. You would see rain dripping down the walls and stuff. Would be nice if you could apply the same to 1st person weapon models. I've seen it in Call of Juarez Bound in Blood, but I dont...
I was playing Battelfield: Bad Company and I noticed something really cool. As soon as you fire a weapon inside a confined space, the gunsound gets really loud and distorted. I dunno if Unreal Engine 3.0 would support for something like that, but it would make for a great feature in RO:HoS.
In the mod back in the day, there where diffirent sounds for when shells were ejected on for example a wooden floor or a snowy surface. I was always amazed by how it was the first game that ever did that. But in the retail game, I never noticed it.
Maybe bring it back in RO:HoS?
I was thinking, you never bolt the same. Maybe make like 5 diffirent animations for bolting, which randomly play. So one time it takes 1 second to bolt, the other time it won't go as smooth and a longer animation is played.
It might be considered a waste of time and resources, but it's little...
