So to sum this up, no terrain support ( yet? ), which is really too bad since it made working with huge landscapes easier. I could build the terrain but once I built the lightning the editor crashes, so I guess we're on the same page here.

Did you link the animation to the mesh? Copy the animation set to your file, select it, go to "Edit" -> "Linkup anim and mesh" -> save package. Check if it works now. Another way, open your file in the animation browser, select the mesh -> go to the tab "Animation" -> Adjust the default...

Kinda sure that the X version is for adding skin groups and is not supposed to be downloaded by clients, so don't put it in the server packages.
