Whitelist Specific Updates

We all know the people at Tripwire a pretty busy, and do their best updating their games. But how about whitelist specific updates?

Updating the game itself we can understand long waits for, and more than worth it, but a lot of people are also awaiting the updates for then new whitelist for added maps, mutators, etc. Isn't there a way Tripwire could pop out an update every now and again just for an updated whitelist?

We are already taking care of the maps. There's an update every 2 weeks.

can't mutators be included in that update?
there a quite a few i've run across that have the possibility of being updated

Unfortunately, mutators cant be tested like maps.... and some people could hide stuff in the codes to cheat. And when it comes down to coding, TWI knows a lot more than us

It's not that, it's because not too long after the whitelist was implemented, Tripwire added functionality whereby the map whitelist could be updated without a whole new patch that would mean server restarts etc. Unfortunately, mutators cannot be whitelisted without a new patch.

Wasnt sure about that one but you did a good job
But i'm still pretty sure that they want to check the codes themselves instead of letting others do it.
