Hi there,
I have been having a big issue with Killing Floor multiplayer since the day I bought it. Single Player works perfectly. I have followed the instructions posted on the forums for my router, but it still doesn't seem to work.

Whenever I connect to a multiplayer game, the game plays for about 5 seconds, and then it completely freezes. I am still able to move though. So, everything else, except for me has frozen.
I have never had any problems with my internet connection before, and don't believe it is responsible for this issue.

Please help fast,

Thanks. :)

Help

By no means am i genius with this type of stuff but it sounds like it could be a few things but first thing i think you should do is verify the integrity of the game cache- by right clicking killing floor in your games list on steam and going to -properties- then -local files- tab where you will see the option and let that run- takes about 2-3 mins.

Check this post cause it could be a issue with the type of router you have - http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=38891

Or if neither of the options work check this post by yoshiro about the ports used by killing floor, AND if your unsure how to open ports the first reply on this post has a link to "how to open ports." http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=30727

Hope this helps

What I've tried

What I've tried

Okay, so far I have tried opening ports, changing the "ServerBehindNAT" to True, as suggested by Yoshiro. I have also changed the file suggested in Morrelo's thread. However, I could not use the reccomended method with the cmd posted on Morello's thread. I have also seen that someone else has the same problem, and Morello has replied to that post saying the router is the problem.

Specs:
Windows 7 (64-Bit)
3GB RAM
Intel i7 1.6GHz processor
NVIDIA GeForce GT 240M Graphics Card.
(Alienware M15X laptop)

Thanks.
