Just because they exist[ed] doesn't mean that they have to be in game. I highly, highly doubt that these were available for every 16th-25th man.

Rabbit ear devices like those were more so used in command areas or fortified entrenchments. They weren't just carried around by anyone, especially in a city.

And not to sound like a dick, but please don't suggest a "Saving Ryan's Privates Tom Hanks Bayonet Chewing Gum Mirror Combination" for looking around corners. (Joke)

Also, that one photo is extremely interesting. Aside from the suggestion topic, it looks like a mosh posh periscope device for shooting while under cover. I want one!!!

Would be an interesting idea, but I doubt they were used a lot.

And not for your average riflemen.

Maybe occasionally for squad/platoon leaders or something.

Obviously, it was a pretty rare thing.
