This is really in regards to a bipod deployed MG, but can also extend to rifles to a certain extent.


Basically, if you've got an MG deployed, you shouldn't be able to aim all that high, as the butt end of the gun would run against the ground as long as the MG rests on it's bipod (the fulcrum).

Even with a rifle, you shouldn't be able to aim any higher than probing your rifle up onto your elbow.


Of course these don't apply when steadied or deployed on a raised surface, like a rail, ledge or window sill.
