And yeah, dynamic lights have to be on for that to work. If it's off, not only will it not work but the lights won't show up at all, so don't use it as the only light source in that area as people who have dynamic lights unchecked will be left in the literal dark.
EDIT:
In my opinion the dynamic lights option should disappear from the menu and only exist in the .ini. You need it on for the flashlight to work and performance is hardly an issue with this option as it doesn't help that much to disable it anyway. It should just be on by default, imo.
Thanks, but how do I make a trigger spot light? When I place the trigger light, and change it to a spot light, there is no arrow for the direction of the light.
My testing has shown that spotlights don't seem to work as dynamic lights though, so you might run into problems with this. You might have to create that effect with a few smaller, regular trigger lights.
