Sharpshooter class the best?

Thanks to the new update to the perks, support is not "as" godlike, but sharpshooter, adding the pistol to it, I have found to be a little demon like.

I have been using this set up as of late, and have won a bunch of games with it.

Sharpshooter 5 class, with double pistol, bull(poop) and dual cannons.

I just seem to be able to dish out sooooo much damage, and still carry tons of ammo.

BTW, I play on hard and suicide only.

What are all of your thoughts?

I prefer Firebug since it allows me to kill scrakes and the rest of the trash with ease, never being overwhelmed is a great feeling, and nothing beats 9mm for FP's any ways.

As for as the Patriarch goes, I guess being able to see him while stealthed is a great advantage. Though I find myself doing less dps than Supports and marksman.

Berserker all the way, baby.

Faster movement speed, damage reduction, insane amounts of close combat damage...what more could you ask for?

QFT. Before latest update it was a choise between run speed or not be grabbed by clots. Its not anymore. You will fail on hard without a decent zerker now. (unless all go support, that still works with a litte teamwork)

I like sharpshooter but I don't think it's the best. You can't single-handedly take on scrakes and flesh pounds unless you're either playing solo or playing on beginner/normal. Berserker on the other hand...

You can - even at six player game. Use Crossbow and Handcannons. First shoot a couple of headshots and then fire at close range with Handcannons. Works as a dream but requires some m444dsk1llz. ;)

Hmm... Sharpshooters have:

9mm pistol / dual 9mm's
Handcannon / dual handcannons
Lever Action Rifle
Crossbow

That is 4 different weapons to choose for a Sharpshooter, all of which gain bonuses from his perk.
5 or 6 if you count dualies, but I am not sure if dual handcannons get benefit from Sharpshooting perks or the support specialist as it used to count as shotgun damage towards Support Specialist. This is a ludicrous amount of single target damage potential when counting the headshot bonus. But I guess they really, really need all the help they can get.

Even support can't carry all of those, so chosing gonna be a problem.

Well, when you think about it... You can have the crossbow and dual handcannonts, or a lever action rifle, dualies and dual pistols. There is plenty to choose from.

Support class... Oh, boy. I don't even know where to start with them. They can weld incredibly fast, can carry 2 handcannons and a bucket of grenades with greatly increased damage and 2 primaries, namely the "Flak Cannon" and "Flak Cannon Jr.".

I personally find sharpshooter useless, when you gotta aim for the head on the zombies I just hit them once with flame and there dead :\

The problem is that the Flamethrower isn't nearly as good on Hard as on Normal. On Normal, it pretty much kills everything within about a second of constant flame, to the point that you can just "tap" them with flame and let them burn out. On Hard, it only works like that on Crawlers, Stalkers, and Clots (AKA, "Trash" specimens). Be glad they got the ammo buff, becasue before that, the Flamethrower didn't have even close to enough ammo to be useful on Hard. Now all they need to do is add a bit more ammo capacity and do something about that ridiculous recoil...

Against anything else, specifically GOrefasts, it takes a few seconds of constant flame. And while you're giving them that, they're STILL running at you. As we all know, Gorefasts can do a running-attack now, so...very often, the hapless Firebug gets sliced up by the very Gorefast he's incinerating. And against Skrakes and Fleshpounds, the damage of flame is so pathetic that all you'll be doing is wasting precious fuel and possibly raging them on you (A flaming Skrake raged on you is VERY BAD).

Right now, Berseker is the ONLY class that can really take on anything within a few seconds without trouble. While Firebugs/Commandos can take out trash, and Sharpshooters/Supports dominate mid-level enemies, the Berskerer is the only one that can still cut down Skrakes and Fleshpounds with barely a pause...

Fire Bug is hard perk to play in FF servers and I don't play anywhere else but there. However, I like to use Fire Bug as well but this is not a thread about it.

Sharpshooter, on the other hand, is very good for FF servers and it works damn well even at Suicidal difficulty.

I don't know what perk is the best but the difference between them is quite small so just play whatever you like the most. ;)

Unless you dont use xbow, ss will be somewhere near firebug in the most-hated list on FF servers. I was one got hitt by a xbow thru a bunch of specimen (I was berkerk, and standing in the middle of those).

Comando is the most welcomed class on FF servers, as far as I can see. Their gun deal minimal damage, and those guys tend to look at others' shoes (to shoot crawler), so chance that you head got popped by a bullpup is remotely small.

Watch a little where you aim then. Anyway, Crossbow is the best weapon of this class and should be always used. Even Patriarch falls much more easily with this weapon (but not too easy).
